The Ipswich Family YMCA is currently seeking an enthusiastic and personable individual to join their Member Services team in a part-time capacity. The position offers an opportunity to work Monday through Friday from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm or on a split schedule at an hourly wage ranging from $15.00 to $16.00. This role is vital as it represents the front line of member interaction where first impressions matter significantly. The successful candidate will be the friendly face and warm voice greeting members each morning, ensuring that every visitor or member feels valued, supported, and informed.
As a Member Services team member, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities that include answering inquiries, conducting facility tours, promoting programs and memberships, handling check-ins, updating member information, and assisting with locker room checks. You will play a critical role in fostering an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere that reflects the YMCA’s core mission of community wellness and support. Your interaction will not only help members navigate the facility but also build meaningful relationships to support their goals. Moreover, this position calls for a dependable individual who is positive, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
