Rooted in the belief that the status quo is unacceptable, Geronimo Hospitality Group fosters a dynamic and energetic work culture where creativity, hard work, and pushing limits are not just encouraged but expected. This company is more than just a hospitality provider; it is a creator of destinations that captivate and inspire guests, making every visit a special moment rather than just a pit stop. One of the standout establishments within the group is truk't, located in the heart of downtown Beloit. This restaurant embodies the spirit of being properly unproper—bold, worldly flavors are the norm here, with signature items like Baja fish tacos, house-made corn tortillas, and an impressive collection of over 100 global tequilas and whiskeys. Truk't challenges conventional dining standards, offering a distinct culinary adventure that draws patrons who appreciate innovation and quality. This particular job opportunity is for the role of a Part-time Prep Cook. The role demands precision, attention to detail, and a passion for quality in food preparation. Prep cooks at Geronimo Hospitality Group are not just task doers but key contributors to the culinary creativity and excellence the brand stands for. The responsibilities include varied and hands-on food prep skills such as measuring, washing, peeling, cutting, grilling, baking, roasting, broiling, steaming, carving, and portioning. Knowing the menu thoroughly is essential, enabling cooks to understand the ingredients and perfectly assemble each dish to order. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is also a critical part of daily duties, ensuring food safety and efficiency. Employees are expected to test foods properly, monitor temperatures with ServSafe procedures, and practice diligent inventory rotation. Geronimo Hospitality Group offers a competitive wage of $16.00 per hour for this position, highlighting the value placed on skilled culinary team members. Beyond the wage, the company prides itself on providing substantial benefits to its team, including employee discounts, paid time off, training and development opportunities, 401K retirement plans, medical benefits, 24/7 online care, and even pet insurance. This comprehensive benefits package underscores Geronimo Hospitality Group’s commitment to not just their guests but also to their employees’ well-being and growth. Joining Geronimo Hospitality Group means becoming part of a company that celebrates individuality and hard work. It’s a place that offers the chance to build your own future within an encouraging and boundary-pushing environment. This role is ideal for those who have prior experience in non-fast food restaurants or culinary training, who thrive in fast-paced settings, and who are ready to contribute to a team that values excellence and innovation in hospitality.
