The Server position at Antico Posto is essential in delivering exceptional guest service that exceeds expectations. Servers are responsible for managing a section of 3-6 tables, ensuring efficient, friendly interactions while possessing strong multitasking capabilities and upbeat energy. Successful candidates will have food and wine knowledge to assist guests effectively, making recommendations that enhance their dining experience. The role demands teamwork, enthusiasm, and the ability to work various shifts, including weekends. Servers play a critical role in maintaining smooth operations by accurately recording orders, processing payments, balancing receipts, and adhering to all restaurant policies and procedures. Safety and sanitation compliance is paramount, as is effective communication and the ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced, sometimes noisy and crowded environment. This position requires physical stamina, including standing and walking throughout the shift, maneuvering through different areas of the restaurant such as stairs or uneven floors, and the capacity to move and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally.
