We are currently hiring immediately for a full-time Porter position located at 900 Metro Center Boulevard MET, Foster City, CA 94404. This role is scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, providing a structured and predictable workweek with an hourly pay range between $24.00 and $26.00. The Porter position is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the front of the house areas including all tables, counters, floors, windows, and beverage stations, playing a vital role in the smooth operation of foodservice environments. The role requires previous experience in a Porter position and demands a strong commitment to safety and sanitation standards. Responsibilities include bussing, clearing, and cleaning tables during peak hours; properly transporting dishes and utensils while adhering to safety protocols; washing dishes and cleaning cooking stations; maintaining presentation and portion control according to HACCP standards; and assisting with heavy deliveries and storage. The role emphasizes teamwork, customer service through ensuring a clean dining environment, and compliance with company policies such as proper glove use, slip-resistant footwear, and safe lifting techniques.
