The primary role of the PCC Event Assistant at the Edmonds location is to support the PCC Cooking Classes by delivering excellent customer service to students and assisting Chef Instructors with various classroom tasks including setup, preparation, and cleanup. This role is vital in ensuring that every cooking class experience is seamless, enjoyable, and educational for all participants. The Event Assistant may also be called upon to assist with PCC events held both in-store and at offsite venues, acting as a PCC brand ambassador and ensuring that all events run smoothly according to established plans. This position offers a pay rate ranging from $16.66 to $17.16 per hour and requires a flexible schedule, including the availability to work nights and weekends. The role demands physical activity such as standing, bending, twisting, and lifting items weighing between 10 to 30 pounds regularly. The assistant will greet students with professionalism, support food preparation under the guidance of the Chef Instructor, maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the classroom and cooking equipment, and ensure compliance with PCC's policies and standard operating procedures.
