The SAP Configuration Business Analyst role is a vital position within Insulet’s Quality organization and reports directly to the Director of the Quality System team. The successful candidate will operate within a dynamic, collaborative environment, primarily supporting the ongoing operations and enhancements of quality processes automated with SAP S/4 HANA, which is the enterprise resource planning (ERP) backbone at Insulet. These quality processes span across Plant Maintenance activities, including preventative maintenance and calibration, overall quality operations, and the governance of global master data within the company’s quality systems. This role demands a critical thinker capable of multitasking and managing multiple parallel quality SAP process initiatives. The Business Analyst will focus on global quality projects and process improvements, requiring the ability to deeply understand and analyze existing business workflows, recommend enhancements, and translate these needs into configured solutions within SAP. Core responsibilities include conducting comprehensive business and systems analysis, gathering and documenting requirements through interactions with stakeholders, and developing process flow diagrams to support the understanding and implementation of quality-related SAP solutions. The role involves building and maintaining SAP master data records aligned with approved engineering change orders (ECOs) from Insulet’s Product Lifecycle Management system, Arena. The analyst will also provide expert consulting on data alignment and extraction for quality processes and support training materials and sessions to enhance SAP S/4 HANA utilization among business users. Further duties include creating and managing workflows within SAP S/4 HANA, evaluating third-party tools for business impact, and maintaining essential documentation such as use cases, system interface diagrams, standard operating procedures, and project status communications. The role requires a proactive and collaborative individual who can effectively communicate progress and challenges to business users and cross-functional teams. The position offers hybrid working arrangements, requiring onsite presence at an Insulet office at least once a week, with the flexibility to work remotely on other days. The estimated salary range for this full-time role in the United States is $101,475 to $152,212.50, based on role, experience, and location.
