We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our Food and Beverage Team. The role is comprehensive and involves maintaining a properly stocked bar, preparing alcoholic beverages with precision and care, and providing a welcoming and courteous experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for everything from requisition and stocking of beverages and supplies to handling fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, mixing and garnishing drinks according to our standard recipes, and ensuring all transactions are handled efficiently and accurately using a point of sale system. Adherence to State, Federal, and Corporate regulations regarding the service of alcoholic beverages is paramount in this role, requiring vigilance and a commitment to responsible service. This position involves direct guest interaction, requiring excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Additionally, the Bartender will be responsible for securing the bar area, managing cash transactions, and assisting with other job-related duties as assigned. This role also demands flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays, demonstrating reliability and a team-oriented attitude. • At least six months of experience as a bartender
• Bartending and food handler certifications
• Ability to communicate in English
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times
• Good communication skills with guests
• Willingness to help co-workers and work as a team player
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and various alcoholic beverages
• Basic mathematical skills to operate cash registers, make change, and manage financial transactions
• Manual dexterity sufficient to use knives, pick up glassware and bottles, scoop ice, mix drinks, and retrieve stock overhead
• Ability to remember and promote menu items
• Ability to operate keyboard and point of sale procedures
• Flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays
