We are currently seeking part-time Chef professionals to join our Culinary Services team at The Reserve at East Longmeadow. As a Chef at The Reserve, you will be at the heart of our dining experience, helping provide a restaurant-style atmosphere where residents enjoy quality food prepared with care and attention. Your role involves working closely with the Culinary Services Director and Executive Director to meet resident preferences and ensure high-quality dining standards. You will assist in supervising culinary staff, uphold rigorous kitchen cleanliness and safety standards, and play a part in executing our innovative dining enhancement programs. Responsibilities include meal preparation, food storage and inventory management, temperature documentation, and special event catering support.   • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a cook in a hospitality or healthcare environment
  • Serve Safe Certification
  • Ability to build positive and strong relationships with associates, coworkers and residents
  • Ability to handle multiple jobs and priorities
  • Ability to read and follow recipes and printed production guides, cleaning schedules and logs
  • Physical ability to lift 15 lbs, push and pull carts, and stand or sit continuously
  • Finger and hand dexterity to handle kitchen instruments and equipment
  • Visual and auditory acuity
  • Ability to crouch, kneel, stoop, bend, and reach as needed
  • Willingness to accept direction from superiors and work collaboratively
