Currently, Levy Restaurants is seeking a motivated and skilled Hourly Junior Sous Chef to join the culinary team at State Farm Arena. This position is a part-time, event-based role with a starting pay of $19.00 per hour and does not involve tipping. The position is seasonal, spanning from October through April 2026, with a possibility of extension depending on the Atlanta Hawks' playoff schedule. The work schedule primarily includes afternoons, nights, and weekends, aligning with the event calendar at the arena.
The Junior Sous Chef will play a crucial role in supporting the Executive Chef and the culinary team in the Owner's Lounge, a premium area serving Hawks Owners and VIP clients during home games. This is an exceptional opportunity for a culinary professional to gain leadership experience in a high-volume and fast-paced environment. The Junior Sous Chef will be responsible for executing seasonal menus, ensuring the highest standards in food quality and presentation, and maintaining Levy’s hospitality standards. This position requires hands-on engagement with food preparation including grilling, sauteing, roasting, and knife skills, coupled with strict adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines. The Junior Sous Chef will supervise and train kitchen staff and cooks, manage inventory and supplies, and ensure all food handling practices meet corporate and governmental standards.
