River Club Apartments, one of the properties managed by Preiss, is currently seeking motivated and customer-focused individuals to join their team as Leasing Consultants. The role of a Leasing Consultant at River Club Apartments is crucial in maintaining the dynamic day-to-day leasing and marketing operations of the property while ensuring the highest levels of resident satisfaction and engagement. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for potential residents, parents, and visitors, representing the River Club Apartments with professionalism and dedication. Your responsibilities will encompass answering inquiries, persuading prospects to explore the property or website, completing daily follow-ups in the leasing database, and supporting delinquency communications. Additionally, you will play an active role in marketing efforts by attending resident events, creating partnerships with local universities, businesses, cultural centers, and employers to drive prospect visits, and distributing promotional materials on and off-campus.
The role also includes a strong tenant experience component where you will greet and assist residents, address questions or concerns promptly, and manage administrative tasks such as logging packages, collecting payments, filing leases, and generating mailings. An essential part of your duties will involve community marketing efforts including outreach to local businesses and competitors analysis to stay informed about the leasing landscape and strategies within the local market.
To be successful in this position, candidates should possess excellent customer service skills, a solid understanding of Fair Housing regulations, and preferably some experience in property management leasing. This role requires a minimum of one year of customer service or sales experience, with a high school diploma being the basic educational requirement, while some college coursework or a bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
