The Bartender is responsible for serving properly mixed and proportioned drinks quickly and courteously to all guests and servers. Key responsibilities include restocking bar supplies, adhering strictly to all liquor liability laws, and always verifying guest identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age regulations. • High school diploma or equivalent
• previous bartending or beverage service experience preferred
• must be at least 21 years old
• able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift
• effective communication skills by telephone and in person
• basic computer/MICROS knowledge
• capable of lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
• previous cash handling experience
• valid San Diego County Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Service certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
