The Food Runner role at our hotel is pivotal in ensuring an excellent dining experience for members and guests alike. This position involves anticipating guest needs and delivering food and beverage items with professionalism and efficiency. The Food Runner supports servers by presenting menus, answering questions, making food and beverage suggestions, and ensuring that all orders from the kitchen are accurate and adequately prepared with the necessary condiments and sides. This role demands a high level of multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment, with physical tasks such as lifting trays, kegs, and cases up to 50 pounds, and working in various weather conditions, especially as some duties may occur outdoors.   • High school diploma or equivalent required unless currently enrolled
  • Minimum of one year previous experience as a server or server assistant in an upscale restaurant, hotel/resort or private club environment preferred
  • Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service including alcohol awareness certification preferred
  • Must be able to work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions
  • Must have professional appearance
  • Must be able to effectively multitask in an extremely fast paced environment
  • Must be able to comply with standards of responsible alcohol service
  • Must be physically able to safely lift and carry trays, kegs and cases weighing up to 50lbs several times during the course of a shift
