As a Waiter on the Pride of America, you'll oversee your assigned station, ensuring it is immaculately prepared, cleaned, and set up for each meal period. You will guide and instruct Assistant Waiters to maintain a seamless, timely sequence of service, resolving guest concerns, and product issues promptly to guarantee an outstanding dining experience. Your role also extends to supporting various other functions such as manning buffet action stations, assisting with room service deliveries, participating in private event setups, and contributing to service training initiatives. This variety ensures a dynamic workday where teamwork, flexibility, and customer-centric service are paramount. We value candidates with proven expertise in fine dining and banquet service, preferably with at least two years of experience in upscale land-based hotels, large independent restaurants, or similar shipboard roles. A minimum of one year selling and serving wine and beverages is highly desirable, emphasizing the importance of product knowledge to enhance guest experiences.
