The current opportunity is for an administrative support role based at one of Marathon Health’s care centers. This role focuses on providing essential front office functions including reception duties and general support across the department. The individual in this position will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure smooth daily operations and positive patient experiences. Responsibilities include answering incoming calls and greeting visitors in a professional and courteous manner, assisting patients with appointment scheduling and calendar management, creating professional correspondence and other documents, processing incoming and outgoing mail and packages, maintaining office supplies, and handling payment collections and reconciliations. This role requires a highly organized individual with strong communication skills to serve as the initial point of contact for patients and visitors. The ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently, prioritize effectively, and maintain a welcoming environment is key. The administrative support specialist also contributes by maintaining patient records accurately and supporting Medical Assistants with electronic medical record data entry tasks. Confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations are paramount in performing all duties. This position offers a pay range from $19.00 to $23.00 per hour, varying based on location and candidate experience.   • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1-3 years of related professional experience in a medical office environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency in the use of an electronic medical record system
  • Strong technical expertise using Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
