The Nursing Assistant/Unit Receptionist role at Montage Health is designed for individuals who are motivated to contribute to the healthcare environment by supporting both patients and clinical staff. This position reports under direct supervision of registered nurses and department leaders such as the department director, assistant director, or charge nurse. As a Nursing Assistant/Unit Receptionist, the individual will be responsible for taking vital signs and assisting patients with activities of daily living, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout their care experience. They will also perform clerical duties that are vital to the smooth operation of their assigned unit, including managing communication channels, maintaining records, and supporting customer service efforts. This combination of clinical and administrative responsibilities requires a detail-oriented professional who can thrive in a demanding environment while maintaining high standards of patient care and customer relations.
This is a Per Diem employment opportunity with varied shifts during evening and night hours, including 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm and 11:00 pm to 7:30 am. The hourly pay ranges from $34.66 to $46.38, dependent on years of applicable experience. An evening shift differential of $2.01 per hour and a night shift differential of $2.95 per hour are offered when applicable, which adds further financial incentive for candidates comfortable with these working hours. The position requires American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification and completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant course or relevant experience.
- At least one year of experience in an acute hospital or long term care setting within the last two years preferred
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
