This particular role is based at LEGOLAND California Resort and focuses on supporting and assisting the Hotel Front of House Management Team in daily operations. The position provides direct leadership support to the Front of House team and steps in to manage responsibilities whenever necessary. A key aspect of this role is upholding the highest standards of customer service, with an emphasis on creating memorable experiences for guests and making every child feel like a hero. The position pays an hourly rate ranging from $23.50 to $23.85, reflecting Aramark’s commitment to fair compensation. 
The job involves a range of responsibilities including customer engagement, human resources tasks, safety compliance, financial oversight, and additional operational duties. The individual is expected to lead by example in customer service, handle guest concerns empathetically, and support staff across various restaurant functions such as cooking, serving, bussing, hosting, bartending, dishwashing, and cleaning. The role also requires proficiency in using scheduling software, conducting interviews, managing employee relations, and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations both under Aramark’s policies and those imposed by client companies and relevant local authorities. Financial duties include managing inventory, minimizing food waste, monitoring labor costs, and assisting with financial reporting.
The ideal candidate will possess at least two years of progressive experience in food service leadership, particularly within full-service food and beverage operations, with bar experience considered an added advantage. Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills are essential, enabling effective staff management and fostering a positive workplace environment. The ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure, flexibility in work hours including holidays and weekends, and the capability to pass a Food Handler certification exam are also mandatory. Physical demands are significant and include frequent lifting, pushing, bending, and prolonged periods of standing or walking, often in environments with heat, noise, chemicals, and temperature extremes. This role often requires personal protective equipment and uniform use.
