The Front Desk Night Auditor role at Concord provides a crucial function in the hotel’s operations by ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions processed overnight and offering excellent guest service. Responsible for processing daily audits of the hotel’s financial data, the Night Auditor verifies and finalizes transactions carried out during a shift, including credit card payments and posting tax charges to guest folios. This role demands encountering and resolving guest requests, handling phone system operations, and collaborating efficiently with other hotel departments to guarantee smooth service delivery throughout the night and prepare for the morning activities. The position entails verifying and balancing hotel room availability, managing guest check-in and check-out procedures, including express checkout options, and administering guest payment policies. It also involves maintaining the security of hotel keys, guest safe deposit boxes, and being well-versed in emergency procedures to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
Beyond the operational responsibilities, this position requires the Night Auditor to be guest-focused, delivering outstanding hospitality that meets or exceeds guest expectations and responding promptly and professionally to any inquiries or special requests. The role is versatile, integrating administrative tasks such as preparing folios for departing guests, filing necessary reports, transmitting financial data, and supporting the lobby's overall presentation, including assisting with breakfast setup if needed. The Night Auditor role is a full-time position with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $18.00 to $20.00.
