We are currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented Food and Beverage team members to join our seasonal staff at the Coliseum within The Resort at Pelican Hill. This full-time, non-management position carries a competitive pay rate of $16.50 per hour and is tip-eligible, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and eager to gain experience in a dynamic, high-quality environment. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that all aspects of food service operations are executed flawlessly, contributing to an impeccable guest experience. The primary responsibilities will include completing closing tasks such as storing all reusable merchandise, dismantling and cleaning equipment and areas, securely locking refrigerators, replenishing items, turning off lights, and locking doors. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in all work areas throughout the day is critical, as is inspecting the presentation and cleanliness of porcelain, glassware, and silverware before use. Employees will be expected to comply with company safety policies, report any maintenance or safety issues, complete necessary safety training and certifications, and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Further, this role demands physical stamina and manual dexterity, as incumbents will need to move, lift, transport, push, drag, and place objects weighing less than 50 pounds independently, as well as stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during shifts. You will be interacting with guests and colleagues professionally, supporting a positive team environment by respecting and assisting coworkers and helping to achieve shared goals. Additional duties might include answering phone calls appropriately and performing other reasonable tasks authorized by supervisors.
