Key responsibilities include evaluating staff performance, making decisions related to salary increases and disciplinary actions, and ensuring compliance with all operational and safety standards. Efficiency and customer satisfaction are achieved by aligning staffing levels with projected sales, increasing customer counts, and executing local marketing initiatives to boost store traffic. Physically, the job involves working in both office and restaurant environments, including extended periods of standing, sitting, typing, and some physical activities such as reaching and lifting. The manager must also have the ability to travel to various restaurant locations within the assigned district, including overnight trips, supported by a valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance.
