The General Manager role at Lucky Strike Entertainment is critical in ensuring each center operates smoothly and profitably while delivering an unmatched guest experience. This role is dynamic and physically engaging, requiring the manager to be on their feet, coordinating teams, managing daily operations, and addressing challenges in real-time. The General Manager is responsible for overseeing every aspect of the center, including the entertainment offerings, food and beverage sales, facility management, and staffing. They act as the central leader who fosters a positive team environment, driving high performance and ensuring staff deliver exceptional customer service every day.
In this role, General Managers develop and monitor financial plans and budgets aimed at achieving the center's revenue goals. This includes managing labor costs and other operational expenses efficiently. Operational proficiency is essential, as General Managers actively manage floor operations, scheduling, planning, and clear communication with team members. Training and development of staff are equally important; the General Manager supervises ongoing training programs to maintain high standards in guest service, food and beverage operations, loss prevention, and compliance with corporate policies.
Daily duties include reviewing center performance through regular team meetings and profit and loss statements, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet business objectives. General Managers also play a vital role in employee morale and human resource management at the center level, ensuring any issues are resolved promptly to maintain a constructive work environment. Guest satisfaction is the top priority, with the General Manager ensuring all complaints are addressed appropriately and guests leave completely satisfied. Furthermore, the role involves overseeing the growth and quality of the Food & Beverage program, maintaining high standards, and promoting a strong sales culture. Flexibility to work varying shifts such as weekends, holidays, and extended hours is a crucial aspect of this role.
