The Pharmacy Technician role at Sam's Club serves as a vital link between the pharmacy team and members, ensuring the smooth processing of prescriptions and delivering excellent customer service. This position involves operating cash registers, managing merchandise presentation, assisting with prescription fulfillment, and maintaining pharmacy area compliance with company policies and regulations. Candidates in this role will be responsible for processing member purchases, handling various payment types accurately, and managing inventory by stocking and rotating merchandise. They will also support the prescription fulfillment process by entering prescription data into software systems, filling prescriptions, and verifying member information during pickups. Since compliance with local, state, and federal laws is critical in pharmacy operations, this role requires adherence to all applicable regulations and promotion of the pharmacy's professional reputation.

- Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT) within 9 months of job entry
