The Field Talent Staff (FTS) program at Chick-fil-A, Inc. is an exclusive opportunity designed for new and emerging restaurant leaders who already work in a Chick-fil-A-branded restaurant. To be eligible, individuals must have been employed at their current restaurant location for at least six months and must have the support of their current employer before applying. This program allows participants to leverage their existing restaurant knowledge to train new team members on brand and operational standards while providing operational support across various assignments, including new restaurant openings.
FTS members serve a crucial role in the success and expansion of Chick-fil-A by participating in up to eight assignments annually, with each lasting up to three weeks. Assignments take place in different Chick-fil-A locations or temporary operational sites, giving trainees a rich exposure to various operational setups and leadership challenges. The program is tailored to develop leadership, training, and operational skills while enabling the exchange of best practices with other outstanding leaders within the Chick-fil-A network.
Compensation for FTS members is competitive, starting at $20 per hour, with an increased rate of $21.50 per hour for assignments in the state of Washington. Additionally, members receive a daily per diem to cover expenses incurred during assignments. Overtime is compensated at one and one-half times the regular pay rate for any hours worked beyond 40 hours per workweek, in accordance with applicable laws.
Currently, there is an opening for the Field Talent Staff position in Alachua, Florida, specifically supporting a New Restaurant Opening (NRO) training team. This assignment primarily involves training new team members in frontline operations such as Front of House (FOH), Drive-Thru, Back of House (BOH), and Prep areas.
