The role of Backwaiter is an essential support position within the restaurant staff, responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of food to guests, assisting with maintaining dining room cleanliness, and supporting overall service stations. The Backwaiter position requires excellent multitasking abilities and communication skills, as it involves monitoring the expo line, running trays of food, clearing and sanitizing tables and floors, transporting dirty dishes to the dishwashing area, and restocking service stations.
