This full-time role serves as the primary onsite point of contact for the internship program, managing interactions between mentors and interns to ensure a seamless and enriching experience. The Education Coordinator is responsible for a broad range of activities including mentorship support, candidate eligibility screening, onboarding procedures, orientation sessions, and program offboarding. This role also involves coordinating campus tours and professional development activities, helping interns gain exposure to NASA’s work environment and culture. This position demands strong communication skills, critical thinking, and competent program management. The individual will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including Center leadership, Enterprise leadership, interns, mentors, and partner organizations. Familiarity with office productivity software such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and virtual collaboration tools is essential. Knowledge of NASA-specific platforms like NASA STEM Gateway and Canvas Learning Management System, as well as identity management systems such as NASA's IdMAX, is considered advantageous. Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree and bring a minimum of five years of relevant experience in education or a related field.
