This job opportunity is for a Concierge Security Officer position based in Macon, GA. This is a full-time role with set schedules available from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM either Sunday to Wednesday or Tuesday to Friday, offering between 32 to 40 hours weekly. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $17.01, with the added benefit of DailyPay access for GardaWorld employees. As a Concierge Security Officer, you will be the face of GardaWorld’s security operations in environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. The role demands a strong focus on customer service and the ability to establish meaningful connections with visitors and tenants. Your responsibilities will include welcoming guests, verifying identities, managing access control, conducting regular patrols to identify security risks, inspecting security equipment, writing detailed incident reports, and coordinating responses to emergencies including providing first aid. This role requires excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, and a calm, reassuring presence that helps foster a safe and secure environment.
To succeed in this position, candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S., possess a high school diploma or GED, and have the ability to pass an extensive screening process. Exceptional customer service skills and basic proficiency in phone and computer operations are essential. Previous experience in security, military, or law enforcement is advantageous but not mandatory. Candidates must also hold any required state licenses and be at least 21 years old with a clean motor vehicle record.
