We are currently seeking to fill front desk openings at our McDonough location, offering full-time employment with a tentative schedule from 8am to 8pm across three shifts per week on a floating schedule. This role requires the flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of urgent care services and the commitment to being accessible to patients when they need us most.
The Patient Service Representative plays a pivotal role as the first point of contact between patients and clinical staff, significantly influencing the overall patient experience. Responsibilities in this front office position include greeting patients warmly and professionally, managing patient check-ins, verifying insurance details, collecting co-pays and balances, and performing a variety of clerical and administrative duties vital to office operations. The individual in this role must be adept at balancing multiple tasks while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor, as they are instrumental in ensuring patients feel valued and supported.
This position also involves maintaining the readiness and organization of the reception area, supporting physicians and office operations, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards such as HIPAA and OSHA. The Patient Service Representative will handle sensitive patient and business documents with the utmost confidentiality, manage electronic medical records by documenting medical interventions accurately, and understand the nuances of health insurance benefits and billing processes. Additionally, the role may require occasional travel to nearby Piedmont Urgent Care locations to provide staff support, highlighting the need for adaptability and a team-oriented mindset.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year experience in a medical office or emergency room setting preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
