The Marketing Events Manager position at Sandia Resort & Casino holds a pivotal role in elevating the resort's entertainment and promotional efforts. This leadership position is responsible for managing all events associated with the resort and casino, both on and off-property. The role involves coordination with entertainment agencies for booking talent and managing all aspects of event approvals through liaison with resort leadership, the gaming commission, and the tribal council. The Marketing Events Manager not only focuses on entertainment bookings but also oversees the financial aspects by preparing proformas and postevent financial reports to ensure profitability. This includes managing contracts and payment processes related to entertainment expenses. In this role, the manager must demonstrate superior communication skills and maintain professional relationships with both internal teams and external service providers. The successful execution of events depends heavily on the manager’s ability to create detailed event itineraries and collaborate closely with operational departments such as security, catering, housekeeping, and box office services. The position demands strong organizational skills to oversee production elements for entertainment, such as sound, lighting, special effects, and other technical rider requirements.   • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
