This position calls for a passionate and experienced professional to support and lead the Flight Attendants and operational teams within these bases. The Flight Attendant Manager will play an integral role in promoting a safe and respectful environment by inspiring crewmembers to uphold the highest standards of performance and customer care. Working closely with both the Flight Attendants and operational partners, this role demands a hands-on manager who actively participates in day-to-day flight operations to ensure on-time performance and adherence to company policies. The Flight Attendant Manager will oversee multiple locations and act as the primary advocate and leader for the inflight personnel. This individual will be responsible for managing attendance and performance records, coaching and counseling Flight Attendants, and maintaining professional relationships with airport officials and company operational departments. The role includes significant administrative duties such as cost control, investigations, dispute resolution, and thorough reporting to enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, the Flight Attendant Manager must demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills to build trust and respect among crew members. They will act as a credible source of information, support the company's positions, and foster an environment that aligns with the airline's commitment to safety first and a culture of caring. This leader will also ensure smooth coordination across various internal departments—including Airports, Flight Operations, and Technical Operations—to deliver a seamless "One Crew" approach. This role requires proven management experience, preferably within the airline industry, as well as prior inflight operational expertise. Candidates should be adept at balancing multiple objectives under pressure, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and be capable of motivating and developing crewmembers to promote engagement and professional growth. The Flight Attendant Manager must be available to travel as needed to support all assigned locations and maintain qualifications through ongoing training.
  • Minimum of three years of airline inflight experience
  • Minimum of two years of management experience preferably in the airline industry
  • Prior flight attendant experience is preferred
  • Participate in base meetings as inflight representative
  • Attend and successfully complete flight attendant initial training and maintain qualifications
  • Ability to balance and sequence multiple objectives
  • Ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to travel as needed to locations
