The role being offered is that of a Lounge Bartender, a critical position within the food service team at the Embassy Suites in Brea. The hourly wage for this full-time position is $16.50. As a Lounge Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and company policies. This role requires a mix of technical bartending skills, excellent customer service capabilities, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. You will engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring that their beverage needs are met while maintaining a safe and attractive bar environment. Your duties will include mixing ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to craft cocktails and other drinks, serving wine and beer, collecting payments, managing inventory and supplies, and creating appealing displays of bottled goods and glassware. You may also prepare small appetizers and garnish drinks to enhance guest satisfaction. • High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in bartending or similar role preferred
