CAVA is currently seeking a General Manager to oversee all restaurant operations and lead their team members. This role is an integral leadership position where the manager is responsible for maintaining a guest-focused and team-focused environment that supports successful day-to-day operations. The General Manager will establish and uphold high standards, create a positive work atmosphere, and inspire their team to deliver an exceptional customer experience consistently.
The responsibilities of the General Manager include developing oneself and others, leading the restaurant operation like an owner, and putting the customer first, including the internal team customers. The manager will handle people development, inventory control, labor management, staffing, coaching, training, accountability, and corrective actions when necessary. They will cultivate CAVA fanatics by inspiring their teams to always find ways to say "yes" to every guest, take pride in each shift, and foster collaboration within the team to achieve collective success.
This role also demands adaptability and problem-solving through an open-minded and inclusive approach. The General Manager may be assigned additional duties as needed, reinforcing the importance of flexibility within the position.                 - High school diploma or equivalent
 - Previous experience managing a restaurant or similar hospitality environment
 - Ability to work in fast-paced and physically demanding conditions
 - Must be able to bend reach and handle kitchen equipment
 - Comfortable working in varying temperatures and near open flames
 - Capable of working in tight spaces and maintaining communication
 - Ability to sit squat kneel occasionally and lift up to 50 pounds
 - Must maintain alertness and work safely at all times
 - Flexible availability including weekends and holidays is preferred
