The role of Kitchen Leader at Chipotle is an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills and leadership capabilities. As a Kitchen Leader, you will learn how to prepare excellent food, including grilling meats and sautéing vegetables, ensuring that every dish meets Chipotle's high standards for taste and quality. This position involves not only food preparation but also managing inventory, monitoring food waste, and maintaining strict kitchen cleanliness and safety standards. Kitchen Leaders are responsible for training and mentoring crew members, developing them into future leaders within the kitchen environment. Working in this role means being active on your feet, managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and fostering a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house crew members to ensure a seamless and enjoyable customer experience. The role offers a base pay ranging from $21.25 to $23.65 per hour, supplemented by digital tips and a comprehensive benefits package, including tuition assistance, free food, medical insurance, and opportunities for career advancement.
