We are currently seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our team. This role requires a dedicated professional with a strong work ethic, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to lead by example. The Food and Beverage RD will be responsible for overseeing various operational aspects, including performing safety and sanitation audits, managing food quality, meal delivery, and ensuring therapeutic and mechanically altered diets are prepared correctly.

The RD will be involved in staff management duties such as interviewing, hiring, and training new employees, as well as scheduling and providing ongoing staff education and in-services. Financial stewardship is also a crucial aspect of the role, with responsibilities including maintaining weekly operating expenses and ensuring that financial goals are met. The candidate will be expected to maintain organized records and oversee inventory management, including the timely ordering of food supplies in coordination with the sous chef.
In addition to operational leadership, the Food and Beverage RD will collaborate closely with the Registered Dietitian to develop menus and recipes, ensuring adherence to dietary guidelines and menu extensions. The role also includes some minor clinical duties, assisting with sections of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) and gathering nutritional information to support patient care plans. Effective communication across departments and with patients is essential to ensure that dietary services meet the highest standards of care and responsiveness.
