The Concierge Security Officer position at GardaWorld Security Services is primarily based in Vacaville, CA, offering a set schedule of 40 hours per week from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, Sunday through Thursday. This role demands a strong emphasis on customer service, as the officer will interact with individuals in various settings including office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. The hourly wage for GardaWorld employees in this role is competitive, set at $18.50 per hour, complemented by a generous benefits package. In this position, the Concierge Security Officer is expected to build meaningful connections through genuine engagement with visitors and occupants at their post. The role involves welcoming guests, verifying identities, managing access control, and guiding visitors effectively while maintaining a visible and reassuring presence. Performing regular patrols to identify potential risks, inspecting security equipment, responding to incidents with professionalism, and writing detailed reports are key components of the job. Officers must also be ready to provide first aid, coordinate with emergency response teams, and answer inquiries either in person or over the phone. The overall mission is to ensure the safety and protection of people and property while delivering exemplary customer service. Ideal candidates are those who are authorized to work in the U.S. and have at least one year of security experience. A high school diploma or GED is required alongside a state-issued security license (BSIS Guard Card) and an additional 32-hour BSIS security training. The applicant must possess a valid California driver's license, be at least 21 years old, and capable of passing a motor vehicle check and an extensive screening process. Proficiency in basic computer and phone skills is essential, and previous experience in military, law enforcement, or security sectors is considered a strong advantage.
