The position is hourly paid, with a competitive rate ranging from $13.00 to $14.00 per hour. The successful candidate will play a key role in setting up and maintaining safe, clean, and compliant work areas to ensure the highest standards of food safety and product quality. Responsibilities include preparing products using specialized machinery and tools, adhering strictly to safety guidelines, and effectively managing event setups and teardowns. In addition to preparation duties, this role involves actively participating in promotional activities by conducting product demonstrations and sampling to boost brand visibility and shopper engagement. Attention to detail is crucial as the position requires accurate completion of all reporting and compliance documentation, including online submissions. The ideal candidate must be proactive in staying informed about event schedules, company updates, and supervisory instructions to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Physical demands of the job include frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, pushing wheeled machinery weighing up to 600 pounds, and extended periods of standing. • High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience preferred but not mandatory
• Applicable state and local food safety certification or license
• Ability to lift continuously a minimum of 50 lbs several times per day
• Ability to push wheeled machinery weighing between 50-600 lbs to/from the sales floor
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to work varied hours as required
• Ability to climb using a 6' step stool when necessary
• Ability to work in environments with exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions and hot equipment
