Campbell Street is currently seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join its team in Iowa City, IA. This role is pivotal in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment for all residents, contributing directly to the quality of life and satisfaction within the facility. The housekeeping team ensures that all resident areas are properly cleaned and sanitized, including rooms, dining areas, common spaces, and restrooms. This position requires someone capable of performing routine and repetitive tasks with diligence, under guidance from the Housekeeping Supervisor. The responsibilities include sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering residents’ clothing, handling linens and towels, and cleaning common and private areas. The role also involves light office cleaning, hallway upkeep, trash removal, and using neutralizers to precondition contaminated articles. By ensuring the environment is clean and orderly, the housekeeper aids in creating a welcoming, safe, and pleasant atmosphere for the residents.
