Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is currently seeking a Deployable Tool Crib Attendant 2 to join the Aircraft Solutions organization located at Edwards Air Force Base, California. This role is critical in supporting tool management and logistics operations essential to mission success. The position involves receiving, storing, and issuing a variety of tools, machine tool fixtures, dies, and measuring devices used by employees. The attendant will maintain detailed records of tool issuance and inventory, perform routine maintenance such as cleaning and minor repairs, and manage calibration schedules for measuring devices to ensure accurate and reliable equipment usage. In addition to hands-on tool management, the role requires supporting logistics functions, including preparing documentation and coordinating the deployment inventory of spare parts, test equipment, and technical manuals. This position requires careful tracking and evaluation of equipment condition and configuration changes to maintain operational readiness and compliance with safety and Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention programs. The incumbent must have excellent knowledge of tool accountability and safety protocols, contributing to maintaining the quality and availability of essential resources for the workforce that executes critical aerospace and defense manufacturing tasks. This role demands flexibility with work schedules, including the possibility of extended shifts, holidays, and on-call availability around the clock. A valid U.S. passport and the ability to obtain and maintain security clearances such as DoD Secret and Special Access Program (SAP) clearances are mandatory. The Deployable Tool Crib Attendant 2 position offers a competitive salary range of $45,800 to $76,400 annually, complemented by opportunities for overtime, shift differentials, discretionary bonuses, and participation in long-term incentives for certain senior roles.
