We are currently seeking a passionate and dynamic Assistant Director of Food and Beverage to support our Director of Food and Beverage in driving strategic initiatives and operational excellence within our food and beverage outlets. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to shape and grow our restaurant services while ensuring an exceptional experience for guests. As part of a collaborative and entrepreneurial team, you will develop leadership within the food and beverage managers, coordinate team efforts across the restaurant, bar, and banquet settings, and contribute to menu innovation alongside our culinary team. Your responsibilities will also include planning and executing special events, guiding staff through training and certification, managing hiring and performance, and upholding the highest standards of guest service and operational budgeting.
This position requires a proactive, self-directed professional who thrives in an innovative and slightly unconventional environment. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, an effective communicator, and has a strong background in hospitality management and food and beverage operations. Expertise in budgeting, labor costing, inventory control, and staff development is essential, along with proficiency in relevant hospitality technologies such as Avero, Aloha, Micros, and payroll systems like ADP or eTime. Your ability to diplomatically navigate complex situations and maintain integrity will be critical in fostering a respectful and productive workplace culture.

- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, restaurant management, or equivalent field preferred
- minimum 3 years' experience in food and beverage management roles
- level 1 certification of Court of Master Sommeliers or equivalent experience
- food handler and alcohol awareness certification if applicable
- strong budgeting and financial management skills
- experience with inventory control and staffing
- ability to manage and lead diverse teams
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- proficiency with hospitality and payroll systems such as Avero, Aloha, Micros, ADP, and eTime
- strong computer literacy
- ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and integrity
