Allegiant-Carter Management is seeking a dedicated and passionate Groundskeeper to join their team at The Gables, a multifamily apartment community located in Ridgeland, Mississippi. This full-time role is ideal for candidates who are focused, reliable, and enthusiastic about grounds maintenance. The Groundskeeper will play a key role in preserving the beauty and safety of the property, contributing directly to residents’ satisfaction and the overall value of the community. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, and comfort with manual and power equipment. The Groundskeeper will be responsible for conducting daily inspections, maintaining common areas, managing irrigation systems, overseeing trash compactors, and supporting seasonal tasks such as pool maintenance. This position will include an on-call schedule, requiring flexibility and responsiveness during assigned shifts, including weekends.
The Groundskeeper’s daily responsibilities will extend to performing custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and cleaning windows, ensuring that all areas remain clean, orderly, and inviting. The role also involves monitoring security equipment, maintaining accurate records of scheduled maintenance, and keeping an organized inventory of tools and supplies.
