The position available is for an Event Coordinator who plays a crucial role in the seamless operation of the sales department. The Event Coordinator is responsible for managing important behind-the-scenes administrative functions that are vital to the smooth running of the store’s event-related services. This role supports the sales process by completing necessary administrative duties, including performing confirmation calls to finalize event details, ensuring all aspects of event planning are coordinated effectively among departments and with clients.
Furthermore, the Event Coordinator actively participates in the sales process, specifically handling part of the booking for the company’s valuable social market segment. This means that the Event Coordinator is not just a back-office support contact but also engages directly with potential clients in converting inquiries and requests for proposal into confirmed bookings – a key business development function.
