As a Company Operations Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and guest satisfaction across a multi-unit territory. This leadership position involves oversight of 6 to 10 District Managers and approximately 50 to 75 distinct restaurant locations, primarily within the Florida market, with a focus on candidates located in or near Central Florida. With your strategic direction, you will ensure that all restaurants exceed performance targets related to sales, profitability, and customer experience. Your role will be essential in mentoring and developing District Managers to strengthen leadership capacity and maintain a high standard of operational consistency. This fast-paced, flavor-forward environment requires a hands-on leader who thrives on achieving measurable results and making a tangible impact on both guests and employees.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing sales and profitability goals by working closely with District Managers to develop and implement creative and locally relevant sales strategies. Analyzing profit and loss statements to detect and address trends will be critical to your success, as will employing forward-thinking pricing, marketing, and promotional tactics to stay a step ahead of competitors. Elevating the brand's presence and guest loyalty through market-wide initiatives will also be part of your key responsibilities.
Championing a guest-first culture, you will ensure that every restaurant delivers a fast, friendly, and flavorful experience. You will use data such as guest feedback and operational metrics to continuously coach teams toward improving satisfaction scores. Maintaining impeccable standards in food quality, cleanliness, safety, and operational consistency are integral to this role. As the standard-bearer for food safety, sanitation, and compliance, you will lead restaurant teams in adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
Developing talent is a cornerstone of your duties. You will recruit, train, and mentor District Managers to build a robust leadership bench. Inspiring confidence, managing team performance, and fostering a positive and engaging restaurant culture are vital components of your people leadership responsibilities. Monitoring employee turnover and implementing retention strategies will help maintain a stable and motivated workforce. As a key leader, you will also conduct impactful team meetings and performance reviews that drive accountability and growth.
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree (preferred but experience considered) and Food Safety Certification is mandatory. Candidates must possess 5 to 7 years of multi-unit restaurant leadership or comparable experience, and be proficient in Microsoft Office and operational systems. Ability to travel approximately 60% of the time and work flexible schedules as needed is essential. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and tolerate exposure to restaurant environmental conditions such as heat, smoke, and noise.
