The role of Installation & Maintenance Manager is a critical leadership position within Pramira, primarily responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day field operations of the Palmdale fiber network maintenance program. This position demands a dynamic professional capable of managing installation and maintenance crews while also handling ticket dispatch and resolution through the company's Network Operations Center (NOC). The manager ensures that all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met or exceeded, reflecting Pramira's commitment to operational excellence and client satisfaction. Key duties include managing fiber installations across residential, MDU (Multi-Dwelling Unit), and commercial sectors, supervising technical staff responsible for drop installation, splicing, ONT testing, router installation, and utility locates. The role also involves oversight of maintenance and repair works tied to city or utility initiatives and emergency restoration, ensuring smooth and compliant project execution. As part of the responsibilities, the Installation & Maintenance Manager conducts quality audits and site inspections, maintains compliance with safety and branding standards, and coordinates closely with relevant city inspectors, owners' representatives, and subcontractors. Leadership and mentoring of crews to maintain readiness for same-day and next-day service tickets is a vital component, along with support for asset control, inventory management, and necessary reporting under contract obligations.   • 5+ years of experience managing fiber installation or maintenance operations (residential, commercial, or MDU)
  • Strong understanding of fiber drops, ONT installation, splicing, and restoration procedures
  • Familiarity with 811 locates, NOC coordination, and ticket-based service workflows
  • Proven ability to meet service levels and manage crews under performance-based contracts
  • Excellent documentation, safety compliance, and leadership skills
  • Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
  • OSHA-30 certification preferred
  • Blue Badge or equivalent fiber certification a plus
