The role of Dual Director of Sales is a critical leadership position that operates across two dynamic hotel properties: the LaQuinta Inn and Suites and the soon-to-open ECHO Suites by Wyndham. This full-time, salaried exempt position offers an enticing bonus structure to motivate and reward performance. Positioned as a key member of the hotel leadership team, the Dual Director of Sales is tasked with maximizing revenue generation across multiple business segments, including room reservations, catering events, corporate group bookings, and special occasions. 
This strategic sales leader will head the sales and marketing initiatives for both properties, ensuring cohesive and effective campaigns that boost visibility, market share, and profitability. The role requires a seasoned professional with a hunter mentality—someone who is proactive, driven, and relentless in uncovering new business opportunities and nurturing valuable client relationships. Beyond managing the sales pipeline, the Dual Director will lead and inspire a sales team, including managers, coordinators, and catering staff, fostering a culture of high performance and exceptional customer service.
The Dual Director of Sales will also play a pivotal role in community engagement by representing the hotel at industry events and networking opportunities both in person and virtually. This outreach is essential to developing a robust client base from diverse market segments such as corporate, government, social, military, educational, religious, and fraternal groups (SMERF), leisure travelers, and associations. Additionally, this role oversees the execution of promotional campaigns, guest communication strategies, and ensures that customer satisfaction consistently drives repeat business.
The ideal candidate will bring at least five years of progressive hotel sales and marketing experience coupled with proven leadership skills. Familiarity with the Springfield market and a guest-first mindset will be invaluable. Experience with kosher catering and multicultural events is considered a plus, reflecting the hotel’s commitment to inclusivity and diverse client needs. The role demands exceptional negotiation skills, proficiency with sales systems (with Delphi experience being advantageous), and the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet business demands.
