Breeze Airways is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inflight Standards and Development Specialist to join their team. This full-time role is crucial to maintaining the highest inflight safety standards compliant with federal regulations and company policies. Reporting to the Manager of Inflight Services Policies and Procedures, this specialist will ensure the accuracy and clarity of inflight publications and participate in the continuous development and revision of inflight policies and procedures that impact daily operations. The role is instrumental in bridging communication between the Safety and Inflight Training Departments by identifying safety trends and recommending enhancements to training curriculums and operational processes. As an Inflight Standards and Development Specialist at Breeze Airways, you will play a pivotal role in researching internal policies, procedures, and aircraft equipment details to guarantee regulatory compliance within all inflight manuals. You will collaborate extensively with various departments including Inflight Training, Flight Operations, Technical Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Stations, and Guest Empowerment to maintain consistency and alignment of inflight documentation with company-wide best practices. The position demands proficiency in technical writing, policy drafting, and revision management, ensuring all manuals, bulletins, and temporary revisions are updated timely and reflect current operational standards. The specialist will also be responsible for managing document libraries and reference materials, supporting audit readiness, and closely monitoring regulatory changes such as IATA, DCT, and FARs. Maintaining compliance with security-sensitive information protocols is paramount, as is serving as the Inflight department's designated Safety Representative. This responsibility includes reviewing safety reports, identifying hazards, tracking safety concerns through the Safety Management System, and collaborating on reports and initiatives designed to improve safety outcomes. This role requires a candidate with a solid background in inflight operations, technical writing, and safety compliance, ideally with at least two years of inflight airline experience. Additionally, the ability to effectively communicate complex regulatory information in clear terms, manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, and adapt to the dynamic environment of a start-up airline is essential. Candidates must attend and successfully complete Breeze Inflight training, maintain flight attendant currency, and meet all regulatory and security requirements including DOT drug testing and TSA fingerprinting.

• 2+ years inflight airline experience
• Experience in technical writing and/or proofreading
• Must attend and successfully complete Breeze Inflight training and maintain flight attendant currency
• Ability to assist in operation and travel as necessary
• Must pass a dot pre-employment drug test
• Must pass a tsa fingerprint-based criminal history records check and a Breeze background check
