The Custodian/Customer Service Representative (CSR) role at SBM Management is an excellent opportunity for dedicated individuals who are hardworking and dependable. This position requires strong customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and customers alike. The primary focus of the role is to maintain cleanliness and order within facilities while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. Custodial responsibilities include floor care such as vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spot cleaning, surface care including dusting, sanitizing, and glass polishing, as well as waste removal and light maintenance duties like replacing light bulbs and restocking supplies.
A vital component of the role involves complying with safety rules, policies, and procedures, demonstrating good judgment in decision-making, and presenting a professional appearance and conduct. The CSR must be capable of understanding and following both oral and written instructions and may assist in training new employees or demonstrating work processes to ensure a high standard of custodial services. Additional duties involve maintaining various public and private spaces clean and orderly, including restrooms, break rooms, elevators, lobbies, conference rooms, and common areas. The CSR is expected to use proper personal protective equipment at all times and effectively communicate with managers, coworkers, and customers. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a competitive wage range of $19.00 to $20.00 per hour.                 - Must have reliable transportation
 - Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
 - Ability to read 2-3 syllable words, recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
 - Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
 - Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
 - Know how to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s
 - Know the American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance and measures such as cups, pints, quarts, gallons, etc
 - Required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own vehicle or company vehicle on business time, will also require you have proof of vehicle registration and insurance
 - Bilingual is a plus, not required
