We are currently seeking a Steward/Dishwasher to join our dynamic team. As a Steward, you will play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and cleanliness of our kitchen operations. This position is essential in supporting our culinary staff by ensuring that all cooking utensils, chinaware, silverware, and service ware are impeccably cleaned and properly stored. The Steward contributes significantly to the smooth execution of dining services, directly impacting guest satisfaction and the hotel's overall financial success. This role operates during an overnight shift from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am, offering an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about culinary arts or eager to grow within the hospitality field. The starting wage ranges from $22.75 per hour up to $28.44 per hour after the probationary period, reflecting the value Hilton places on skilled and dedicated team members. Responsibilities include managing dishwashing duties with precision, handling heavy cleaning tasks such as scrubbing pots and pans, burnishing and polishing silverware, and maintaining supply inventories. Stewards also assist in preparing clean service ware for events and functions, training fellow staff members as necessary, and performing general cleaning duties like mopping and trash removal. This role requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work overnight hours.
