Philmont Country Club is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Catering Sales Manager to join their dedicated team on a full-time basis. The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging between $45,000 and $50,000. The Catering Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in directing the club's Catering department with responsibilities that include strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and actively seeking new business opportunities while nurturing relationships with existing clients. This leadership role involves the maximization of revenue and efficient management of catering expenses through tactical negotiations and accurate forecasting.
A key aspect of the role is promoting the club's banquet and catering services, which include a broad spectrum of internal and external events such as seminars, wedding receptions, bar and bat mitzvahs, rehearsal dinners, luncheons, golf tournaments, holiday parties, and other special member events. The manager is charged with cultivating relationships with members, individuals, and corporate clients to foster repeat business as well as to prospect for fresh clientele. Engaging with the community through local bridal shows and public events forms a crucial part of this outreach effort, thereby elevating the club's profile as a premier venue for weddings and other social gatherings.
The Catering Sales Manager works closely with the Executive Chef to tailor custom menus that meet clients' unique requirements.
