This particular opening is for a part-time Housekeeper position at the Inova Ambulatory Service Center located at 7601 Lewinsville Road, McLean, VA 22102. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 5:00 pm to 11:30 pm, with additional details available upon interview. This role offers an hourly wage between $17.00 and $20.00, depending on experience. Crothall Healthcare welcomes candidates with prior housekeeping experience in healthcare settings but is also willing to provide training to qualified applicants. The Housekeeper plays a crucial role in maintaining clean, orderly, and sanitary conditions within healthcare facilities, directly impacting patient, visitor, and staff experiences.
As a Housekeeper with Crothall Healthcare, the employee will be responsible for performing light cleaning duties aimed at ensuring the facility's environments such as rooms, halls, and common areas remain spotless and well-maintained. These tasks include bed making, linen replenishment, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning wash basins, mirrors, and glass surfaces. Additionally, the role involves managing trash disposal in a sanitary manner, cleaning metal fixtures, and realigning furniture to prescribed layouts. The Housekeeper is expected to deliver quality customer service, responding to guest queries and requests, handling housekeeping issues like spills or broken glasses professionally, and contributing positively to team efforts.
