The Housekeeper position at Adventhealth Glenoaks located at 701 Winthrop Avenue, Glendale Heights, IL, offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to maintaining a clean and healthy environment within a respected healthcare facility. This is an on-call role with a work schedule typically from 10:30 pm to 7:00 am, with days varying based on the facility's needs. The pay range for this position is between $18.00 and $19.00 per hour. The role primarily involves performing light cleaning duties focused on ensuring cleanliness and orderliness throughout the hospital, including patient rooms, hallways, and common areas. Duties include bed making, linen replenishment, sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and responding to housekeeping issues such as spills or broken glass. As a housekeeper, you will provide high-quality customer service, attending to detail while maintaining a pleasant and sanitary environment that supports patient care and comfort. You will interact appropriately with guests and staff, contributing to team efforts and exhibiting professionalism at all times. This role requires previous housekeeping experience, ideally within a healthcare setting, and a commitment to upholding rigorous cleanliness standards to prevent infection and promote wellness. The position involves tasks such as cleaning metal fixtures, polishing furniture, emptying trash, cleaning washbasins, mirrors, and glass surfaces, realigning furniture, and responding promptly to housekeeping problems.
