As a Housekeeper/Porter, the individual will be responsible for day-to-day housekeeping activities in compliance with all federal, state, and local standards and regulations. This role ensures the facility remains clean, safe, and comfortable for residents, staff, and visitors alike. The Housekeeper/Porter also provides support to the laundry department as needed, assisting with linen distribution and collection. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness in resident rooms, dining areas, offices, hallways, and other common spaces by performing tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, disinfecting surfaces, and handling trash. The ability to physically perform tasks, including occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, is required. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have the ability to follow both oral and written instructions, and communicate effectively in English.
