We are currently seeking a diligent Housekeeping Technician to join our maintenance team. This full-time role is critical in keeping the facility in a neat, safe, and orderly condition through thorough cleaning practices that align with accepted housekeeping standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and disinfecting floors throughout various areas of the building, including resident rooms and common spaces, ensuring that our facility remains hygienic and conducive to health and wellness. Key responsibilities include changing linens, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, and picking up items to keep resident rooms tidy and fresh. The Housekeeping Technician will also thoroughly clean tub rooms and public restrooms, which are vital for preventing the spread of infection and maintaining facility standards. In addition to routine cleaning, the technician will perform basic inspections to identify any minor or major maintenance issues that may affect the facility’s functionality or safety. The role requires using and maintaining cleaning equipment, carts, and supplies properly to ensure efficient operation and longevity of tools. This position requires someone who is self-motivated and able to follow set procedures accurately while applying knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products to perform their duties effectively.
